Biking in the most beautiful valleys of Cappadocia and
visiting the highlights of it is a perfect combination.
This tour enables you enjoy the authentic atmosphere
of Cappadocia while you are doing your favorite sport.
ITINERARY
DAY 1: Take the evening
flight from Istanbul to Kayseri and meet our driver
and guide at the airport for a transfer to your hotel. Overnight at
a high quality cave hotel in Cappadocia.
DAY 2: We start our full day bike
tour after the breakfast. We bike to
Uzengi Stream and
then Ortahisar through vineyards and gardens. After
Ortahisar we bike to Cavusin via
Rose Valley and then
to Pasabag and
Zelve. We have our lunch in Zelve. After
visiting Zelve Open Air Museum, we pedal to Urgup, giving
an en route visit to Devrent Valley. Today's total ride
is 35 km, 20 km of which is off road. Overnight at
a high quality cave hotel in Cappadocia.
DAY 3: We start the day after breakfast
for a full day biking. Today will be little longer and
harder than the first day. We cycle through
Damsa stream
to Sarihan Caravanserai and then
Avanos. After a lunch
break in Avanos we head onto Uchisar, riding through
Love Valley, and visit its rock castle to have a panoramic
view of Cappadocia. After Uchisar, we ride back to our
hotel through Ortahisar village and
Pancarlik Valley.

DAY 4: Today we leave the bikes aside
and drive towards the touristy sites of Cappadocia.
We first descend into the center of the earth in the
Underground city of Kaymakli, one of the largest and
the deepest of the 40 others in Cappadocia and then
hike in Pigeon Valley from Uchisar down to
Goreme. After
having lunch in Goreme we visit the famous Goreme Open
Air Museum and see the best examples of Byzantine art
in Cappadocia in rock-cut churches with frescoes and
paintings (10th to 13th century). After this you are
transferred to Kayseri Airport for the evening flight
back to Istanbul.
